A Kyoto-based theater company formed by award-winning playwright Toshiro Suzue. They now perform in Osaka, Tokyo, Fukui, and Aichi as well. "Hachiji-Han is highly praised for its critical depictions with conversations full of humor and pathos" (Morio Emori, critic. Spring Issue, Bacchus 2003).
