03 KINOSHITA•KABUKI

Based on an observation of traditional kabuki, KINOSHITA KABUKI aim to
bring about a movement wherein the conventional kabuki values are intertwined
with those of contemporary theater and challenge the traditional style.
The company started work in Kyoto in 2006, and their first production,
"yotsuya-kaidan", based on the traditional, was performed in
a theatrical space boldly constructed.
